Are Food Intolerances to Blame for Weight Gain?

As we know all too well, not eating properly when we have food allergies or food intolerances can result in feeling puffy and even worse symptoms. Lactose does such an awful number on me due to my lactose intolerance.

The nice folks over at Yorktest sent me an informative infographic on this subject and I thought it'd be a great piece to share. Check it out:

And who is Yorktest, you ask?

They specialize in food intolerance testing and have been doing so for over 30 years. Yorktest Laboratories is Europe's leading provider of food and drink IgG  antibody testing programs.

Here's some more information from their site including the tests they provide:

  • First Step Test
  • FoodScan
  • Food&DrinkScan
  • LiverCheck
  • AllergyCheck
  • Homocysteine
  • Gut Health Test

"All of our tests can be carried out in the comfort of your own home, you then simply post your sample back to us in a pre-paid envelope (UK only) and within 10 working days you will receive your comprehensive confidential results."

It sounds like a pretty convenient service, don't you think?
