They so generously gave me some stuff to try and this was my first!
Their Fudge Brownie Mix:

- gluten free
- free of artificial colors
- free of artificial flavors
- lactose free
I was so happy about these propylene glycol free mixes that I didn't notice the dried eggs in the mix. I can't remember if I was allergy tested for eggs (I would think so since that's a common allergen), but I've found out on my own from eating hard boiled eggs that my body HATES them. At least when what I'm eating is 100% egg and I have a couple of them.
I was still willing to give these a try, though. And instead of using two eggs to bake the mix, I used chia gel. That way, there was less egg than there would be otherwise.
So, I got my chia gel ready... (you can read about how to make that here)
And let the mixing begin!
I put the brownies in the pre-heated oven, hoping for the best with the egg substitute...
And took them out after 35 minutes:
OH. MY. GOSH.
They were unexpectedly moist and just absolutely perfect! My stomach didn't even get bothered by them!
I highly recommend this brownie mix!
I ate them way faster than I should have, haha. They were so tempting!
A big thank you to the folks at Ardenne Farm! You rock! Thank you for making such a tasty brownie mix. It's the first time in a long time that I've had guilt free brownies.
