Product Review: Red Apple Lipstick - "New York"

When I was at the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo a month ago (oh my gosh it seems like 10 years ago) there was a Red Apple Lipstick booth. They make gluten and paraben free lipstick, lip gloss, and eyeshadow. I didn't get a chance to stop by because I was so busy in the Official Blogger Area, but I made sure to check out their website later. The ingredients looked good to me, but I know how sneaky those hidden ingredients can be ;-)

So, I had a conversation with them on Twitter and they assured me there's no propylene glycol or hydrogenated oils (due to the gallates)  in their products. Score!

So I ordered a nude shade called "New York":

and waited for it to show up. Most lip products leave me with teensy bumps on my lips. I've been using only Carmex until now.

I was SO excited when it showed up. I'd been dreaming of my outfits being completed with my awesome new versatile lipstick color...

It even came with this cute Red Apple lip gloss trial! I haven't tried it yet. One test at a time, you know?

I made sure to test it out for a couple of weeks and have worn it days in a row and everything. NO BUMPS!!

Here's the color on my lips:

Love it!
