Guess what? Right now I'm 97% eczema-free! My hands are looking really good and the only spots I have are the five above my right underarm. Not bad! :-)
That's "the good". "The bad" are the seasonal allergies right now!
Here's today's forecast:
Saturday - 10/High
Today's predominant pollen: Elm, Poplar/Aspen/Cottonwood and Maple
My head is throbbing, my sinuses are stuffed, my eyelids feel heavy and I am one big case of cranky-pants right now, which means I canceled on hanging out with my friend today :-(
My plan? I'm going to stay inside with the purifiers (as much as I can) and my hunny is going to bring home some Zyrtec. I have plenty of stuff to keep me busy inside the house anyways.
The other bad thing is the Brita faucet filter I just bought:
Pretty, right? The water tastes good as well.
It also has the lovely feature of an indicator light which tells you when it's time to change the filter.
Too bad our light doesn't work, though! I found many other reviews online saying the same thing. Apparently the white model is more reliable.
And get this - the other night, I was watching tv in the living room when I hear my hunny yell out in the kitchen. He had turned the faucet on and the filter shot straight up in the air! He's lucky it didn't hit him in the face!
One of the Amazon reviews I read was from a guy who was thankful that Brita had honored their warranty, but he wasn't thankful about going through FIVE of them.
I really don't feel like dealing with that, so I'm just going to keep it. We'll see how it goes! I like the idea of it, that's for sure.
And "the broken"?
This super cool mirror I ordered online...
Now, I'm not Nancy Drew or anything, but this could have something to do with it...
I spoke with a VERY nice lady who is going to have a new mirror here by Monday or Tuesday and the broken mirror will be picked up on Wednesday :-D
I'm looking forward to it! I'm also looking forward to tomorrow:
Pet Washing Day
