Xyzal: medication that can make you less itchy!

xyzal

Now, I'm not the biggest advocate of medication, but sometimes it's necessary every now and then. If you haven't been able to make it through the night without itching and your skin is in a horrible state, Xyzal can help. As long as you're not allergic to any of the ingredients.

I was given this to try when my skin was in it's worst state in 2009. It DID work :-)

Xyzal is typically prescribed for seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and hives.

The active ingredient is Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride, which blocks histamine receptors and calms your allergies down.

The inactive ingredients are:

  • microcrystalline cellulose
  • lactose monohydrate
  • colloidal anhydrous silica
  • and magnesium stearate

The film coating contains hypromellose, titanium dioxide, and macrogol 400.
